Enjoy a family-friendly astronomy talk by one of our knowledgeable volunteers followed by viewing through a variety of small outside telescopes (weather permitting). Talk begins at 9:00pm. Note: a separate Dome Tour ticket is required for viewing through our 30” telescope.

Description: Some call Mars our "sister planet." Find out some of the science about the Red Planet. It's impact upon human culture and interesting things like the Face on Mars, explorations of the planet and the science of long-distance space travel. We may answer the question: What is the chance that there are Martians or outer space visitors? In what ways does the Red Planet influence our culture?  Science, physics, space travel, history- all are examples of astronomy in action! Join us to learn about the Red Planet.
